Joshua Robertson's Bio

Name:

Josh Robertson

Hometown:

Portola, Ca (Tahoe area)

Family info:

I come from a normal size family, but there is nothing normal about us….we are strange and we love it. My Parents live in Portola California where my Dad serves as a senior pastor at New Life Christian Center, and my Mom as the assistant director of a child day care. I have three siblings, an older sister Rachel with two beautiful kids of her own, a brother Wes who is the funny one in the family, and another brother Drew who is the social/outgoing one of us all. I am the middle child…enough said.

Describe what you do at CLC:

In a nut shell I am Currently serving as the Interim Youth Pastor. Its amazing, I get to hang out with the youth group students in and out of church, just getting to know them, having fun, and talking about life and God with them. I love it.

3 words that describe you:

organized, random, relational

Biggest influences in your life:

Definitely my hometown church, New Life Christian Center in Portola, they supported my family and I through everything. With their love and support throughout my life, they helped make me into the man, or boy, or young adult of God I am today. My Dad definitely has to be my biggest influence in my life, I feel weird saying that cause parents being the biggest influence is everyone’s answer, but it’s true. My dad is a senior pastor in Portola and has shown me how to live a life of God. He has also shown me the essentials to survive in life, and lastly shown love towards me and my family and provided for us a bigillion times. He has been an influence on me during my childhood and still continues to be an influence on me today.

Favorite Santa Cruz restaurant:

Kianti’s: its amazing, and on the weekends sometimes they sing for you…it’s a two for one deal.

Favorite Music:

Phil Wickham, David Crowder Band, The Almost…just my top three.

If you could be on any reality TV show, what would it be?

If a game show counted I would choose that, but probably amazing race just because if you don’t win, which I probably wouldn’t I would get to see the whole world…..for free.
