Family info:
Kendra and I met 10 years in a musical about matchmaking called Hello Dolly. We've been married for 8 years now because of Dolly's magic touch. Since then we've had our beautiful daughter Peyton who is 4 years old our second daughter Amber who is 2 years old and our third daughter on the way! My aunt Laurie also lives with us, so you may get the opportunity to meet her sometime.
Describe what you do at CLC:
I'm the youth pastor. So I help our Jr and Sr high students experience God in ways that fit them as well as to reach out to their friends in culturally relevant ways. I also love to help parents learn to disciple their students and to have lots of fun doing events and hanging out.

Biggest influences in your life:
My childhood youth pastor Becky Lang was huge in figuring out my calling into ministry and in my development as a passionate worshiper.
Archie Honrado from YWAM taught me just about everything I know about missions and working with youth, particularly in Urban settings as we've gotten to spend great times leading NIKOs together, King's Kids camps, and prayer events.
The late great Dr. Gerald Wilson was my mentor in the academic world and helped me to fall in love with Hebrew as well as the old testament.
Favorite Santa Cruz restaurant:
I have only been to a few...and all of different genres (one italian, one seafood, one burger place, one Mexican) so far I liked Betty Burgers in that it is one of the better Burger places I have been to. I may have liked Aldo's better just because I love seafood, but I've had better.
Favorite Music:
